IVAR'S CONSUMER SURVEY
An icon in the Puget Sound region, Ivar’s Seafood sought to rejuvenate the brand’s marketing efforts and Copacino + Fujikado answered their RFP call.
Using my marketing research skills, I studied trends reports to analyze the state of the seafood and quickservice-restaurant (QSR) industries, as well as created and distributed a Qualtrics survey to hundreds of local participants in order to gauge visit frequency and consumer perceptions toward the brand.
Also being a part of the strategic and creative meetings, my idea to brand Ivar’s as a local icon and tourist must-do, much like In-N-Out is to California and VooDoo Doughnuts to Portland, was well-received and ultimately adopted into the creative direction of the pitch.
The pitch for the contract was successful and Copacino + Fujikao will be Ivar’s creative agency moving forward.
In addition to analyzing secondary research on the QSR industry, I conducted my own primary research by distributing a survey to a Seattle Reddit community, collecting over 150 responses. The survey revealed key findings including consumer perceptions and a low visit frequency that needed to be addressed.
